VISAKHAPATNAM: Officers of State Bank of India have sought regulated working hours stating that they are being forced to work for 14 to 17 hours a day due to severe shortage of staff. The two-day general body meeting of SBI Officers’ Association, Hyderabad Circle here at Kalavani stadium concluded on Sunday with several resolutions on working hours, condemnation on growing attacks on trade union leaders, demand for compassionate appointment scheme as a social security measure, revision of ceiling under payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. Association president V. Venkataramana Reddy presided.
