Kanwariyas beat up bus driver
NEW DELHI: A groups of “Kanwariyas” beat up the driver of a Haryana Roadways bus at Burari here on Monday.
The driver was trying to negotiate the bus through the Kanwariyas walking in the middle of the by-pass road and was asking them to give way when they allegedly lost their temper and started hurling stones at the bus.
They overpowered the bus driver and allegedly beat him up. He sustained head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. The police said they were in the process of registering a case and had identified some of the suspects.
