‘Making animation requires fun and creativity’

Thiruvananthapuram: Creativity and fun are essential ingredients that go into the making of an animation film, creative director and graphic designer Subra Krishnaswamy said here on Tuesday.

He was addressing the third session of a national workshop series titled ‘The lighter side of a brighter film,’ organised by Toonz Academy, animation training division of the Technopark-based Toonz Animation studio.

The emphasis of the session was on the pre-production stages of animation. Subra shared his experience on the eventful journey that culminates into a classic film.

The workshop series that began at Nagpur on July 18 covered Jabalpur on the July 19. Similar sessions would be held at Kozhikode, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore and Ahmedabad.
