Bhaskar, Murthy lose

BANGALORE: Two seasoned campaigners — B. Bhaskar and B.V.S. Murthy — suffered setbacks in the league stage of the 40th senior snooker State-ranking tournament at the KSBA hall here.

Bhaskar, who won the senior billiards title recently, came a cropper against Sajjan Bopanna while C. Ravindranath downed Murthy.

In the 33rd junior snooker being held concurrently, Mundir Sherazi carried too many guns for another talented youngster M.L. Lakshman.
