Energy theft detected

TIRUCHI: The enforcement and operation and maintenance officials of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Tiruchi, have detected energy theft during their inspection in Manapparai area on Monday. The TNEB has collected Rs.1,38,965 as levy from the consumers. No police complaint was lodged as the consumers concerned remitted Rs.10,000, according to a press release.
