Panel to forge global links for IT sector

Special Correspondent

Thiruvananthapuram: The Group of Technopark Companies (GTech), a strategic grouping of Information Technology (IT) companies in Kerala, has announced the constitution of a Committee on International Relations (CIR) to build global linkages for the IT industry in the State.

The committee, comprising CEOs of companies based in Technopark and Infopark, has been constituted with the objective of developing a long-term structural framework for forging partnerships with institutions and trade and business organisations in various countries to fuel the growth of the IT sector in Kerala and help the member-companies scout for business opportunities.

Satish Babu, secretary, GTech, said the committee would act as a catalyst in facilitating connectivity between the local IT industry and international markets.
