Sanction for medical college

Thiruvananthapuram: The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given Letter of Permission to the Quilon Medical Trust for establishing a medical college in Kollam with an annual intake of 100 students with effect from the academic year 2009-10.

The management said that the medical college would be set up adjoining the Travancore Hospital of Kollam Medicity along the Thattamala bypass. — Special Correspondent
