Ex-official jailed for graft

BHUBANESWAR: Former Deputy Superintendent of Orissa State Wire Housing Corporation, Rayagada Debaraj Mallick was found guilty on charges of possessing assets disproportionate to his known source of income and convicted by Special Judge, vigilance, Jeypore.

The Special Judge sentenced him to undergo rigorous imprisonment for two years and pay fine of Rs.1 lakh. Upon failing to pay the fine he would have to undergo rigorous imprisonment for six months more.
