Blood donation camp organised

Tiruchi: The HCL Infosystems Limited in association with the Indian Red Cross Society organised a blood donation camp at the Friends Blood Bank campus in the city on Saturday.

The Principal, National College, K. Anbarasu presided over the inaugural. The Regional Manager of the HCL Infosystems Limited, P. Jaimi Joseph said that there was no harm in donating blood and blood donated would be regenerated within 24 hours. The Chairman of the Blood Donation Sub-Club Committee of the Indian Red Cross Society, Srinivasa Thatham delivered key-note address. Over 50 employees of the HCL Infosystems, donated blood on the occasion, a release said.
