Deepak, Pradyumna sizzle

Manudev triumphs

I.H. Manudev capped a fine run with a title triumph in the State senior snooker tournament which concluded at the KSBA Hall here on Saturday. In the final, Manudev defeated Balaji Reddy 5-0 registering two emphatic breaks of 61 and 45.

The results: Final: I.H. Manudev bt Balaji Reddy 68-61, 66-37, 86 (61)-9, 73-14, 77 (45)-5.

Third-place: B.V.S. Murthy bt B. Bhaskar 65-21, 15-52, 63-61, 50-48.

Junior semifinal league: Amit Bhushan bt Zia Ur Rehman 71-25, 62-41, 40-68, 24-61, 59-10, 67-12; Mundir Sherazi bt K.B. Hariharan 60-8, 44-64, 80-30, 46-60, 65-51, 29-63, 59-46.

Archery trials

Karnataka Amateur Archery Association will conduct trials to select the State team for the National mini (under-14) championship scheduled to be held at Vijayawada from August 14 to 17, at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore on August 3.
