IAF copter hit by bullet in Doda

DRASS: An Indian Air Force helicopter flying over Doda in Jammu and Kashmir has been hit by a bullet following which high-security arrangements have been made.

“High security and precautions are being taken while flying in J&K,” Air Officer Commanding in Chief Air Marshal J. Chouhan said on Sunday.

Air Marshal Chouhan said it had not been established whether the helicopter was fired upon (by militants).

Air Marshal Chouhan told PTI that the Air Force flew helicopters over Gurez, Kargil, Leh, Kishtwar and Doda for civilian air support. — PTI
