University union office-bearers

KANNUR: Robert George (Kannur University Thalassery Campus) and T.V. Rajeesh Kumar (E.K. Nayanar Memorial Government College, Elerithattu) are the new Kannur University Union chairman and secretary respectively for 2009-10. The other union office-bearers, elected on July 24, are Subhash Chandran of College of Arts and Science College, Cheemeni and Gargi Jacob of KMM Government Women’s College, Kannur (vice-chairpersons); G. Lijith of Jaybees Training College, Mathamangalam (joint secretary); M. Archana of People’s CAS College, Munnad, V.K. Sreejith of PRNSS College, Mattannur and C. Muhammad Shafi (executive committee members). —Special Correspondent
