Thrissur: The Kendra Sahitya Akademi and the Thrissur Public Library will hold a symposium on ‘Malayalam poetry: past, present and future’ here on Monday. Thomas Mathew, convener of the Malayalam Advisory Board, will deliver the keynote address. The speakers will include K.C. Narayanan, Saradakutty, Prabha Varma, Balachandran Vadakkedathu, Amrutha, Muse Mary George, Attur Ravi Varma, K.P. Sankaran, A. Aravindakshan, M. V. Benny, Bilu C. Narayanan, K.M. Sajeev. A poets’ meet will be held at 3:30 p.m. It will feature Malayalam poets Rose Mary, Anwar Ali, K.V. Sajjy and P. N. Gopikrishnan.
