BANGALORE: The Central Public Works Department, in association with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, and the Energy and Resource Institute organised a seminar on “Green building concept and griha rating system”, focussing on modern buildings in urban areas with a mission to minimise dependence on non-renewable resources, maximise reusing and recycling. It was attended by architects, engineers, builders, and interior decorates. Assistant Director-General A.K. Singhal of Central Power Public Works Department inaugurated the programme. — Staff Reporter
