Body exhumed

BANGALORE: The Amruthahalli police have exhumed the body of a 35-year-old woman who was allegedly murdered by her paramour, here on Saturday.

According to the police, the victim, Puttalakshmamma, a resident of Balaji Layout near Amruthahalli, was murdered by her Venkataramanappa a week ago.

In connection with the murder, the police arrested Venkataramanappa on Saturday. Puttalakshmamma was separated from her husband Nagaraju and had been staying on her own.

She had had relationship with the accused and also another man.

An argument broke out between her and the accused a week ago resulting in her murder, the police said.

Venkataramanappa strangled her and then buried the body in a vacant land near her house, the police said.
