CHENNAI: TNBSA’s Vidya Pillai lifted the ladies billiards title by defeating Asha of CBA 100-66, 102-54, 101-42 in the final of the TNBSA State-ranking billiards and snooker tournament. Ladies snooker: Poorna Priyadharshini (Cues and You) bt Kamala Chandra Banu (CAMS) 63-27, 55-17, 45-21; Vidya Pillai bt Bhavani (CAMS) 61-10, 71-11, 58-12. Chess tournamentThe Tiruvallur District Chess Association will conduct the Amutha state-level inter-school team tournament on August 1 and 2 in the seven-round FIDE Chess Olympiad format.
