Event in honour of Lata Mangeshkar

CHENNAI: ‘Dil Ke Awaaz,’ a musical event as a mark of tribute to noted singer Lata Mangeshkar will be held at the Music Academy here on August 1.
Singer Sadhna Sargam will belt out the evergreen hits of Lata Mangeshkar.
Proceeds of the event will go to V-Excel Educational Trust, which supports 3,600 children and adults with autism, dyslexia and mental retardation.
Singers Usha, Rajeswari, Shekar, Ramesh and Surojit will also perform.
Sharan incorporation is organising the event, the tickets are on available for sale at Landmark, Nungambakkam High Road and at The Music Academy.
