Two die

Udhagamandalam: A man committed suicide after murdering a woman here on Monday. According to police sources, J. Rexy (34) of Nondimedu stabbed R. Priya (27) near Elk Hill and ran away. People informed the police and rushed her to the Government Headquarters Hospital where she died. Rexy also consumed poison and collapsed near Thalaiattumund on Ooty-Coonoor road. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed. It was said that Rexy, who was already married, had an affair with Priya. Since she refused to marry him, he killed her.
