NALGONDA: Officials of the Civil Supplies Department seized 1,680 quintals of paddy illegally hoarded at Rythu Mitra godowns at Kodamabanda village in Kodad mandal on Tuesday. According to sources, the officials searched the Rythu Mitra godowns in the village and unearthed BPT variety of paddy worth about Rs. 25.20 lakh from the godowns meant for farmers on Tuesday evening. The officials registered a case against P. Srinivas, a village based trader.
