Sharjah-bound flight grounded

CHENNAI: An Air Arabia flight bound for Sharjah was grounded at the Chennai airport on Monday morning after it developed a technical snag. Airport sources said its nose wheel steering developed a problem soon after the flight landed around 3 a.m. on Monday.

Following this the aircraft was towed to the bay.

A senior Airports Authority of India official said the snag was attended to and a few hours later, the flight attempted to take off. However, it was not successful.
