Sikh guards for the Queen

PIONEERS: The first Sikhs to guard Queen Elizabeth, signaller Simranjit Singh who is serving with 21 Signal Regiment based in Near Chippenham and Lance Corporal Sarvjit Singh who is serving with 3 Regiment Army Air Corps based at Wattisham. Simranjit Singh has been the first to wear a turban on public duties — guarding the Queen and protecting the Crown Jewels.
