Daggubati’s book may embarrass Naidu

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Another round of embarrassment is in store for Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu, with his co-brother and Congress MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Rao all set to release his book, ‘Oka charitra, konni nijalu’, (One history and some truths).

In a brief interaction with mediapersons in the Assembly lobbies, Dr. Rao said the book would reveal “hitherto unknown facts” about a party with which he was associated for a long time, the roles dubious or otherwise played by its leading players and set the record straight about his own political career. This would be supported by a lot of photographs. “It will be an inside story,” he said without getting into further details of its contents. He said he penned the 200-page book in 30 days and he has already given it for printing. Most of the book was written between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
