Mysore: Abhinava Bharathi Vidhyalaya (ABV), Mandya registered a nine-wicket win over Mahabodhi HS in a low-scoring final to win the ACUK Mysore Forum’s District-level inter-school cricket tournament at the Gangothri Glades Ground here on Thursday.
The scores: Mahabodhi HS 54 in 18.4 overs (T.S. Sushilo 29, J. Rohit Kumar three for 20) lost to Abhinava Bharathi Vidhyalaya, Mandya 56 for one in 9.2 overs (M.L. Vishal 29 n.o). Special prizes: Player of the series: M.L. Vishal (ABV); Best batsman: M.G. Naveen (Sree Sharadha Public School, Mandya); Best bowler: Y. Arun Kumar (Marimallappa’s HS, Mysore); Player of the final: J. Rohit Kumar (ABV).
