British MPs’ delegation in city

KOCHI: A delegation of Conservative Party members of the Parliament of United Kingdom visited Kochi on Thursday. The delegation included Shailesh Vara, Stephen Hammond, Nigel Evans, Mark Lancaster and Sandip Verma. Finance Minister T.M.Thomas Isaac presided over the function.

The delegation visited a few establishments including Binani Zinc Limited and a local hospital in the city. The members evinced keen interest in the development process of Kerala and hoped to widen the net of friendship through bilateral arrangements. The delegation will be in India for two days.
