MADURAI: The Madras High Court Bench here has quashed two Government Orders through which the management of Saraswathi Narayanan College here was suspended since March 20, 2008 and the administration was handed over to a special officer. A Division Bench of Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Justice D. Hariparanthaman held that the Government authorities had failed to follow the principles of natural justice before passing the two Government Orders. The Judges said that the college secretary should have been given a copy of a report filed by a Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education on November 6, 2007 on the affairs of the college since it formed the basis for suspending the management.
