ELURU: City Mayor T. Rama Rao on Friday said the Municipal Corporation of Eluru was contemplating conversion of some parks into shopping complexes. Interacting with the people during his visit to Ramachandraraopet area, he wanted to initiate a thorough debate on the issue in the council meetings. He said many parks in the city were subjected to misuse and in a bad condition for want of proper maintenance which all led the MCE to think of their conversion into shopping complexes.-Staff Reporter
