2 killed as tree falls

CHENNAI: A tree fell on a hut in Poonamallee on Thursday night killing a woman and her son. According to police, Jayapaul (39) woke up to an unusual sound around midnight. He came out and saw a huge tree falling. on the hut. Jayapaul rescued his younger son Viswa (5). Before he tried to save others, the tree fell killing his wife Amulu (32) and son Sabarish (9).
