DPCC panel formed for MCD by-polls

NEW DELHI: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Agarwal on Friday announced constitution of a three-member committee comprising MPs Sandeep Dikshit, Krishna Tirath and Mahabal Mishra for the upcoming by-elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

The MPs would be in charge of the by-elections in their respective parliamentary constituencies and will hold discussions with local MLAs, district and block Congress committee presidents, local leaders and workers about the candidates. They would then submit their report with recommendations to the DPCC.
