ONGOLE: The police have arrested two shop-keepers at Podili and seized duplicate electrical spare parts of L&T worth over Rs. 1 lakh. Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) officials lodged a complaint with the Podili police that they had information about duplicate starters being sold in two shops. Accompanied by the officials, the police raided the shops and seized 38 duplicate starters. The arrested shop-keepers were remanded to judicial custody on Saturday, said Nazeer, Deputy Superintendent of Police.
