VAO held on graft charge

Tiruvannamalai: Department of Vigilance and Anti Corruption personnel on Saturday arrested a VAO on graft charge.

Officials said Jamuna (37), a destitute woman in Setharampattu of Polur taluk, recently applied for pension at a Jamabandhi. However, K. Pichandi, VAO, demanded Rs. 4,000 to recommend her case.
