THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K. Radhakrishnan has assumed charged as the Director of the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology(SCTIMST) here. So far, he had been the Senior Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology of the institute. A world-renowned neurologist, Dr. Radhakrishnan has specialised in epilepsy, stroke and neuroepidemiology. Dr. Radhakrishnan, who hails from Palakkad, took his MBBS degree with gold medal from the Government Medical College, Kozhikode. He took his MD and DM (Neurology) from the Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research, (PGIMER), Chandigarh.
