6th annual zonal Ijtema begins in Shimoga

Start: State President of Jamaat Janab Shafiullah Sab inaugurating the 6th Annual Zonal Ijtema of South Karnataka in Shimoga on Saturday.

SHIMOGA: The 6th annual zonal Ijtema opened here on Saturday under the joint auspices of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya and Atfalul Ahmadiyya.

The two-day meeting is being held for Koran Tilawat, the rendition of Koran-related songs, and debate and quiz.

Sports events will be held at the Nehru Stadium on Sunday as part of the jamaat.

Inaugurating the meeting, State Jamaat President Janaab Shafiullah Sab emphasised the need for fostering peace, amity and brotherhood in society.

State Moulana Janaab Kaleem Khan Sab, secretary of the South Karnataka Zone of the Jamaat Basharaht Ahmed Ustad and president of the North Kerala Jamaat Shameem Ahmed Sahib were present.
