Minister inspects hostel at Bheemili

VISAKHAPATNAM: District in-charge Minister Kanna Lakshminarayana and Tribal Welfare Minister P. Balaraju on Saturday made a surprise visit to welfare hostels at Bheemunipatnam and told the officials to improve the facilities.

They along with Zilla Praja Parishad Chairman G. Ramamurthy Naidu, former Chairman of VUDA P.S.N. Raju, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Ramakrishna and other officials visited Ananda Nilayam, SC Welfare Hostel of Boys and the BC Welfare Department’s Residential School for Girls.

Mr. Lakshminarayana told the officials to improve hygiene in the hostels. The Ministers asked the boys and girls about the menu, visits by the doctors, supply of notebooks and text books and other facilities.

They expressed their happiness over the SC Welfare Hostel for Boys recording cent per cent pass in SSC examination.
