Two militants killed in encounter in Assam

LAKHIMPUR (ASSAM): Two NDFB militants were killed and a cache of weapons was seized by security forces in an encounter in Assam’s Dhemaji district, the police said on Sunday.

On a tip-off about the presence of militants of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Ranjan Daimary faction) in Santipur Belisori, a police and Army team launched an operation on Saturday night.
