NYC leaders quit

KOCHI: Hoping to join the Congress party en masse if K. Muraleedharan is allowed to return to the party, most of the district presidents of Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC), the youth wing of the NCP, announced their resignations. A statement issued by Binu Pulikkantam, State president, who resigned a couple of days ago, said president of 12 of the 14 districts of the NYC had quit the party.
