Dr. Singh promised to take up the issue with the Chief Ministers of both the States to find a solution, according to Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao, who was part of the delegation. The MPs also highlighted the need for allocating coal blocks to the Singareni Collieries Company Limited which was badly hit due to adverse geo-mining conditions and higher stripping ratio.
