Bank staff take out procession

Belgaum: Employees of various banks in Belgaum on Thursday joined the two-day nation-wide strike in response to the call given by United Forum of Bank Unions demanding resumption of negotiations and expeditious settlement on wage revision, pension option and compassionate appointments.

The staff of all the banks, under the banner of the forum, took out a procession through in the city. The strike was led by the office-bearers of the National Confederation of Bank Employees, the All India Bank Employees Association and the All India Bank Officers Confederation.
