Ayurveda hospital to be shifted

HYDERABAD: Health Minister D. Nagender assured the Assembly on Friday that the Ayurveda Hospital would be shifted from the Government Unani College campus, near Charminar, to a rented building as soon as possible, pending the construction of a new building at Darulshifa.

Replying to a question by Akbaruddin Owaisi (MIM), the minister said the hospital would be shifted in a month if a suitable premises was found. A site of 1,078 sqm was identified for the new building. Mr. Owaisi criticised the delay saying the Unani College was losing PG and under-graduate seats due to non-shifting of the hospital.
