MYSORE: Raghavendra (four for 36) and Balasubramanya (three for four) helped Shimoga Zone snatch an exciting two-run win over Mangalore Zone in the league match of the Sri S.A. Srinivasan memorial cricket tournament at PET grounds in Mandya on Tuesday.

The scores: Shimoga Zone 148 in 48.5 overs (Avinash Medappa 70, N. Ashok 30, Manju Rajaram 29, K. Sunith five for 29) bt Mangalore Zone 146 in 55 overs (Nischith Raj 59, Raghavendra four for 36, Balasubramanya three for four).

Raichur Zone 214 in 52.5 overs (Alok Deshpande 79, Imran Khan 57, Murali Krishna 26, Karthik Raghavan five for 23) lost to Mysore Zone 218 for three in 42.5 overs (N. Bharath 106 n.o, Uttam Raj 72).

Tumkur Zone 205 in 52.5 overs (Eshwar Prasad 84, M.P. Nischith 41, Anup Singh 37, Ronith More four for 46, Ramanand Shanbal three for 34) bt Dharwad Zone 173 in 46.4 overs (D. Tanu 36, K. Nithin 30, Rahul 31, Md. Safraz Ashraf six for 49).
