S.A. Raja gets first class facility in prison

TIRUNELVELI: S. Arulraja alias S.A. Raja, a double life convict in the Aladi Aruna murder case, has been given first class facility in the Palayamkottai Central Prison.
He was produced before Principal District Sessions Judge M. Vijayaraghavan here on Tuesday after he was brought from Tiruchi.
When the convict’s advocate Ahmed Hasan prayed for first class facility to the chairman of Rajas Group of Educational Institutions and Industries, Public Prosecutor Selvaraj opposed it saying such facilities should not be given to a person who tried to flee the country after being convicted in the murder case.
However, the Judge ordered first class facilities for Raja.
