Fake currency seized

NEW DELHI: Two men, including a cyber café owner, have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for allegedly printing and circulating fake currency. The police claim to have seized Rs.7 lakh in counterfeit currency from them. The Crime Branch on Wednesday received a tip-off about two men supplying fake currency. A decoy customer contacted them and managed to strike a deal. They turned up near Ashram Chowk allegedly to deliver the consignment of Rs.3,000 when they were arrested. They were identified as Deepak Sharma and Jitender Gupta.
