Accordingly, user fee from road users will be collected at the Gamjal toll plaza between Nirmal and Soan bridge starting August 20-21 midnight.

At a press conference here, NHAI Nirmal unit project director K. Srinivasulu quoted the toll rates at Rs. 40 for cars and jeeps, Rs. 60 for light commercial vehicles and mini buses, Rs. 120 for lorries and buses, Rs. 185 for heavy construction machinery and Rs. 235 for oversized vehicles.

Concessional toll rates for specified categories of road users like locals residing within a radius of 20 km of the toll plaza and some others as per the NH Fee Rules, 2008, were also applicable, he added.
