MCD to fast-track de-sealing

NEW DELHI: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to fast-track the de-sealing of properties in the Capital. The decision came after the civic body received several complaints from owners whose properties were sealed last year for misuse and had been lying locked since. According to officials, the civic body has also decided to make the de-sealing process time-bound.
MCD House leader Subhash Arya said: “We would are going to take up the issue with the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee to find out why such properties are not being de-sealed in a time-bound manner. ”
