VIJAYAWADA: The second mini (under-13) National archery championship for boys and girls will be held at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium from August 15 to17 in which 250 archers from all over the country take part in Indian, recurve and compound segments, according to Andhra Pradesh Archery Association organising secretary Ch. Satyanarayana here on Friday. The following archers will represent Andhra Pradesh in the championship. The teams: Boys: Indian Round: Boys: Vishal Thaker, S. Shaik, G. Naidu, S. Varun; Recurve: P. Sandeep, Chandu Lal, P.V. Satyanarayana, D.V. Prajay; Compound: M. Chiranjeevi, D. Kranthi, G. Anand Sankar, N. Abhishek. Girls: Indian Round: B. Hema Latha, Priyanka, D. Suwarna, K. Srija; Compound: Jyothi Surekha, M. Harathi, G. Kavya, A. Mounisha. RPF in finalRailway Protection force (RPF) and Mechanical C&W entered the final of the 4th DRM Cup inter-department volleyball tournament in progress at Railway Institute here on Friday. In the semifinals, Mechanical C & W edged out Mechanical Diesel Loco Shed 25-15, 25-20, while RPF fought hard to beat Electrical Maintenance 25-22, 21-25, 15-6. In the hardliner tie, Mechanical Diesel Loco Shed defeated Electrical Maintenance 25-10, 20-25, 15-11. The results: Semifinals: RPF bt Electrical Maintenance 25-22, 21-25, 15-6, Mechanical C&W bt Mechanical DLS 25-15, 25-20. Sudha Rani to leadP.V. Sudha Rani will lead the ACA Central Zone women u-19 team in the inter-zonal tournament to be held at Anantapur from August 23 to 27, according to ACA CZ secretary MSPV Ramana Murthy. The team: P.V.
