Chain snatched

CHENNAI: A 62-year-old woman was relieved of her gold chain in Thiruvanmiyur on Thursday.

According to police , G. Jayalakshmi of Pillaiyarkoil Street was returning from a temple on when the suspect who came by walk snatched her chain.

In Nungambakkam

In another incident in Nungambakkam, two youths who came on a motorcycle without a number plate snatched a 2.5-sovereign chain from a girl at a traffic signal. Police said K. Komala (20) of Vaikundam Street in Kodambakkam was returning home from a bank on a moped when the accused snatched her chain at Ayyappan Temple junction on Lady Madhavan Road.
