PALAKKAD: A seminar on ‘waste minimisation and cost reduction in pharmaceutical industries’ will be organised jointly by the National Productivity Council, the District Industries Centre and the Industrial Operations Research Group at Srichakra International here on August 25. A paper on ‘waste minimisation and cost reduction – national perspective’ will be presented by M.J. Pervez, Director, National Productivity Council. A paper on ‘Pharmaceutical industries – an overview’ will be presented by Devidas Warier, general manager, Araya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore.
