KOCHII: Vinayaka Chathurthi is being celebrated by the Kannada Sangha from August 23 to 27 at the Hanuman temple at Ernakulathappan Ground. Ganahoma, puja and other rituals will be performed daily on all the five days. Cultural programmes will be conducted in the evenings. A procession will be taken out on the concluding day. The immersion of the Ganesha idol will take place in the pond of the T.D. Temple. Kannada Sangha, Kochi, a charitable and cultural organisation, established in 1965, has been celebrating Vinayaka Chathurthi for the past seven years, Sangha office-bearers said.
