Cottages opened at resort

PUDUCHERRY: Chairman and Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation Parvez Dewan inaugurated luxury bamboo cottages at the Ashok Beach Resort on Sunday.

Managing Director of Pondicherry Ashok Hotel Corporation Limited B.R. Babu was present on the occasion.

A press release said that the Dupleix Hall and board room at the resort have been renovated. Works on three rooms facing the sea are nearing completion.

The resort would introduce new facilities including green cover for golf lovers and swimming pool in the next six months, the release added.
