Ship leaves for Mumbai

Karwar: The controversial ship mv Shahin that entered Indian waters in mysterious circumstances on the night of July 16, left here for Mumbai for repair works on Sunday. The port authorities, Coast Guard and Indian maritime board have given a clean chit to the sailors.

According to Superintendent of Police Raman Gupta, the ship was allowed to leave pending an enquiry by the Coast Guard in Mumbai. He said that he interrogated the sailors at his office here and found nothing incriminating.
