Digvijay Singh team wins
CHENNAI: Digvijay Singh’s team won the Pro-Am event of the PGTI-125th year Madras Gymkhana Club-Tamil Nadu Golf Open at the Gymkhana annexe here on Sunday.
The three amateurs who made up Digvijay’s team were Muthukumaran, Venkatakrishnan and R. Raja. The team total was 123 points.
Gaurav Pratap Singh’s team finished second with 119 points. Gaurav’s team comprised amateurs Venkatesh Rajgopal, Ishwar Achanta and V. Sanjay Kumar.
Kunal Bhasin’s team consists of Arjun Rao, P. Mukherjee and Shiv Mundy finished third.
The team score was 114 points. C. Muniyappa (41 points) won the prize for the best professional based on Stableford points.
